How to Use THRAISE

1. Enter an NCBI Accession ID

Enter a valid public RNA-seq accession ID such as GSE, GSM, SRX, or PRJNA in the submission form.

2. Choose a Nickname

Use a nickname to identify your analysis request and later check your results. Do not use real names, email addresses, patient information, or other sensitive personal information.

3. Retrieve and Review RunInfo

After submission, THRAISE retrieves run metadata and displays available sequencing runs. Review the sample information carefully before selecting samples.

4. Select Samples and Conditions

Select the SRR samples you want to analyze and assign condition labels such as control, treated, normal, disease, or other experiment-specific groups.

5. Choose Analysis Options

Select the reference genome and analysis parameters. Make sure the selected genome matches the organism and dataset.

6. Submit the Analysis

After confirmation, THRAISE generates an analysis script and queues the RNA-seq workflow. Processing time depends on sample size, server load, and data availability.

7. Check Results

Return to the home page and use your nickname to check progress, browse result files, and download available outputs.

8. Visualize Data

Use the visualization tools to generate plots such as volcano plots, heatmaps, PCA plots, and other RNA-seq result summaries when supported by the available result files.
